Weekend Adventures

So it has been a long adventurous weekend and now it is time to dish! My poor Sarah has been sickly all weekend and I missed her tons. Friday was just a good ole Friday. I got off work early which was probably the most exciting part of my week. When you drive to work in the dark and drive home in the dark it indicates that you work WAY too much. Well luckily I got off early Friday and got to get in some vitamin D (which I missed so much). Sarah and I went on a shopping adventure to Cabellas (which is like an city of its own on top of a mountain) and to the mall! By the time we got home we were both tired, there is not much fun in the mall when the whole rest of the world is there shopping too.

Saturday began pretty boring with a trip to the grocery store and some cleaning. Poor Sarah was still sick so I took her some pepto and a Diet Coke hoping she would be better soon. I was determined to think that I would spend the night at home catching up on some things, but Ivy called and was going out so I went with her, which began our adventure. So Ivy came and got me and we went to go meet out friend Brad (Josh and Brad used to work together). We made our way to Club 90 so that Heidi (Brads friend) could say hi to someone and then over to Allure to celebrate a birthday! Allure was great we danced the night away and laughed cause it was freezing and we had to park like a mile away.

Brad had decided he was going to take Ivy and I to a house that he is working on out in Draper that they think it haunted. Now let me just say for the record I think things like that are creepy but not a huge believer. So we get to this out in Draper that is the middle of no where and dark except for one light upstairs is on. There was a girl that came with us that brought a recorder so that we could record the noises walking through the house, and Brad, Dustin, another guy all had cameras to take pictures. First let me just say that the house was scary and Ivy and I were totally creeped out and we hadn't even gone in yet. So inside the house we walked through the house and took pictures of the rooms to see what we got. I must say that there were things in the pictures that we could not explain. Orbs that were all over all the rooms, except the room that the light was on. After we were done walking through the house we sat down to listen to the recording and were all surprised what we heard. Most of the recording was us talking and walking around (which was funny to hear), however at one point we were all standing in a room none of us talking and there was a voice on the recording. Val had asked what had happened in the house, if someone had passed away and how. Then as we were all quiet waiting for anything on the recording you hear a low voice say "in the hall". Again I am not a huge believer in things like that, however hearing that was enough to make a person think twice. That maybe there are spirits here protecting things, such as a home or a family. We took some awesome pictures there and as soon as I have them I will post them so you can see just how weird the house really was, but I must say it was quite and experience and really does make you think a little.

Well there is not much to say about Sunday. I got to see my parents which is always the highlight of my day. They came down so my dad could blow air through the sprinkler system and then visited for a bit. I made my dad some No Bake Cookies (they are his favorite, and Andrea's too) and then they took a movie and headed back to Heber.

Oh and I want to mention Carli is having a choir concert at Temple Square on Wednesday there are 3 performances at 2:00 4:00 and 6:30 if anyone wants to go i would be happy to tell you where. Carli really loves to sing and this is a great thing that she gets to sing at Temple Square with her Ladies Choir.
