Every once and a while, in your life, you read another persons words that inspire you.
I was feeling a little stressed out and down about things that have been happening recently and felt like I was in a rut, but today realized change is all in my hands. I am getting used to my new position at work and I really love every minute of it. I have also come to find out it comes with many more responsibilities and stress. I often find myself leaving work thinking that I cant get it off my mind. April has proven to be especially difficult for me, adapting to the new found politics of it all. I have let this all get me down too much this month and am vowing to not let that continue to happen.
I have also found that as you continue to get older you also get to know more about life and the REAL things happening all around you. Knowing all of this makes me want to turn back time, go back to a time when life was simple and things like money, men, and work were not on the top of your mind.
I have never been an unhappy or negative person and I don't want that to change. I have always been able to find the good in people and things that happen. As life changes I don't want my positive outlook to change. I want to be able to grow, but remain positive about the good things in life. So to do that I am going to make some changes in my day to day activities.
So what changes am I going to make? Well here are some starters below:
1. I am going to remember I control my job and and if I just take a few minutes to prioritize my day it will create less stress.
2. I am going to take up yoga and boxing after work!
3. When I get home, work will no longer be on my mind until I go back the next day.
4. I will take one vacation a year!
5. I am going to be more environmentally friendly.
6. I will support a good cause once a month!
7. Last but not least I am going to laugh until I cry atleast once a day!
So there are my new goals, and I want to say THANK YOU to the inspiring message! It was just what I needed today to get through the day! You have truely touched me with your words!
