Update

So I know that I am the worst blogger ever and that I do not do it enough. But here is a little update.... I hate the cold, it snowed on Saturday and I was bound to my house cause I didn't want to venture into the cold. Although I may not like the cold I LOOOOOVE Christmas and the holidays and cant wait to celebrate them with my family! I am already getting some good shopping done!

I am super excited for Friday to see New Moon!!! Em, Sarah, and I are having a girls night out!! Yippee! hhmm Edward... I am not one of those Team Jacob people.

On a more positive note I am loving the new place. Em and I had a Halloween party (maybe ill get some pics posted). It was a blast and we saw so many people we love!!!!

My mom is making me make green bean casserole for turkey day all by myself... this could be a disaster... but maybe ill do a practice run before hand haha!! poor Em ill make her be my taste tester... she always is and is such a good sport about it!

Well that is all for now. That was quite a random assortment of posting, but today was a good day to rant, cause it has been a while and today is a great day so I though i would share great things!!

Things that REALLY must go edition 2

So here is edition 2 of things that REALLY must go:

1. People that talk on their phones in the bathroom stall next to you. Come on people no one wants to hear what you have to say in a bathroom that echos everything that you have to say.

2. Wearing too much perfume. This is never a good thing especially when teaching people (it doesn't smell you it makes you stink).

3. having to scrape the ice off your windows... hasn't anyone thought up something to fix this yet? come on people start using you noggins.

4. Last, but certainly not least "Fun Haters"!!! These people really must go. Life is about living and making the most out of things. If you think that everything sucks then it is going to. put on a smile, move on, and know how to have a good time! We all need a few smiles in our life.

School

Well here I am in school, in this computer class realizing that this class is much more complicated than I thought!!!! There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that you don't normally know. So this last week I had a lot of homework to do.....

Do you want to know the saddest part of this whole thing.... Annie is gone :( I cannot share my torture of school with her. Usually I can count on her to count down school hours with me down to the minutes and seconds, however she is not here so here is my countdown. I have exactly 2 hours left at school in this class and a TEST!!!

When Annie gets back and she sees this she will be sad she missed this post.

Things that REALLY must go

So Em and I have started this thing on our fridge, it is called "Things that REALLY must go". If you have ever listened to X96 you know exactly what goes on our fridge. So I decided that I would start it on my blog!!!! To tell you a little about it, well the name says it all. Some people do things or you see things that are just too amazing to pass up, but then there are the random funnies of life that, if you know me, know that I love to joke about. So here is my starter list.

1. Dogs that endlessly bark all night long. C'mon people it is 1 in the morning on a week night, get the thing a shock collar or learn how to control your dog.
2. Vacations without Randi.... It isn't really a vacation unless I am there, and you cant take pictures of things and just pretend I'm in the picture. You would be missing my awesome face.
3. The killer van that drives side by side me on my way to work every day. I know that there are cute guys in the van and all, but geez you creep me out every morning!!
4. And of course, sticks in the mud.. come on people you only live once, stop being so mean to the people you work with!!!!

Old Friends

So this weekend I got the chance to catch up with people that I have not seen since 6th grade. Wow it is amazing how much things have changed, but that these people are so close to my heart! I cant thank them enough for the fun times on Friday!!! It was a blast to catch up, and hopefully stay in touch a lot more than we used to.

On another note I went to see "The Final Destination" in 3D on Saturday. Here is my review:
First it was awesome to see it in 3D.... I was on edge the whole time and jumpy through out the whole thing. I must say though it is NO different then the other ones, people just die in different ways. It was not too long though, I hate movies that they make really long when they don't need to be. So your asking was it worth the money.... YES!!! if your going to go see, then go see it in 3D. it would not be worth it just as a regular movie.

P.S on another note I'm super excited for next Saturday!! I cant wait to see shmev and his bro and kick it listening to some AWESOME music.

Long Time No See!!!!

So yes I know once again I am a crappy blogger and rarely do it. Well needless to say life has kept me busy. Between being sick, house, Milo, work, and trying to have a life I have zero time for anything else in the world.

Happy 4th of July tomorrow! I laugh that the 3rd of July is now an official holiday as well! It seems like more goes on today than tomorrow. Mom thank you for having me up this Sunday I love to see you guys!! we will have fun I just know it!!!

So funny story that I went with Andrea last night to her moms. I love my family they make my day. Well I have apparently learned that I call Andrea "honey" hahaha!!! That is a little strange, but what your Aunt says goes!! Haha not to mention texting Pickle was AWESOME!! We thought we were so tricky not telling her that we were together, but NO she knew!! She is coming to Utah and not even saying "Hi". I'm offended!!! jk.

Well in any news, I'm at work all night and will enjoy every minute of it until I get to go home for my birthday-like dinner. When my roomie told me that I was so excited and thought that meant I was getting fried pizza (if you have never had this you are missing one of the worlds best foods) but sad enough I don't get fried pizza. However I have been told it is birthday-like so I sure am excited.

Austin Remund

Today I did took time out to go pay respects to a good friend and AMAZING PERSON!!

Austin Remund we will always love you and miss you. You were and always will be a great guy, I cant explain enough how much I appreciated you in my life (and saving my chimney from the fire). Sometimes people are removed from our life unexpectedly and it is hard to grasp. The news wasn't real until today. Knowing that really was the last goodbye didn't seem right. Austin know that I will always value our friendship and I love every moment that you were there. R.I.P and thank you for all the memories. You will be missed!!!

An awesome weekend

So this weekend was pretty awesome. I have been working a lot lately so it was nice to let lose and just have a good time last night.

Last night Em and I went to pats show. It was so much fun, but boy oh boy there were some scary people there. Pat rocked that show like usual. He always does such a good job and last night was no different!!! He will definately win the battle, there was NO competition there he was solid!! It is always fun to see some of the people that go to his shows every once and a while. Hahaha Em was glad that she came, we all had a lot of fun!!!

One Word

Oh my gosh so having a puppy is like having a child! So My roomie and I adopted a little black lab. He is so sweet and we love him more than anything, but birth control. Milo doesn't sleep in my room, but poor Em has to get up at night with him. If it has taught me anything it is that I LOVE my sleep and never want to be without it.

He is so amazing and I love him more than anything, but oh boy teething puppies can be quite a handful at times.

On the plus side I am all moved in and unpacked and love living with Em. We have sooo much fun and laugh all the freaking time!!! I just cant wait until our pool is open :) yay!!!

Update from Randi!!!!

I am finally moved into my new place and sooooo excited!!! We got a puppy his name is Milo! I will have my computer back in a week so pictures (lots of pictures) coming!!

Fun Weekend!

So this weekend was AWESOME!!!! (there will be pictures to come don't you worry).

Carli came down which is always a blast, and Friday was probably so much fun for her as she got to watch me pack (which isn't so much fun).

Well Saturday we woke up nice and early to go walking for the cure. This was the funniest morning ever, ill give you a hint on how it started. So the plan (according to Tina) was to meet at Andrea's NO LATER than 7:00am. Carli and I get to Andrea's a few minutes before and as we are sitting in the living room outside all the sudden Cec and Torey pull up. WHOA (first good news no one was running on Perry time)! Second WHOA, Cec was here BEFORE Tina!! Ya I know we were shocked too!!! Don't you worry we gave Tina some crap for that one!! Hahaha! So the walk was AWESOME! We walked 3 miles and it only took us like an hour (hahaha due to my very poor choice of shoes)! Our favorite part of the walk is the booths, but this year there weren't many good booths. We all cried like usual (another awesome Perry thing), and shopped around!

We got home and boy my feeties hurt and was I ever tired! No sleeping though, mom and dad came down and made sure we were both awake!!!
Well I guess its time for more packing I will post pics of the walk and the new Condo in a few days (I know I have been slacking on this lately, but what can I say... moving and training is all I have time for these days)!!

P.S. I want to mention that Amanda made me some AWESOME bags for my aunts and they were very loved. I cant thank you enough for this and congrats on the new addition to the fam!! I'm so excited for you!!

Mom: Sorry your tired :( you can get stuffing or batting at any fabric store.
Randi: Ok cool maybe ill stop after work, my gram pillow needs some.
Mom: :) keep Norma's pillow pumped up, she would appreciate it.
Randi: Haha I love that you just called her Norma and not mom :) haha haha your always be mom it would be weird to call you Gina!!

So ya know when you have those "Please insert foot into mouth" moments. Well I do all the time.... so today goes like this....

I was off work and boy I needed to use the little girls room. I'm quite familiar with where this is cause I'm in this building ALL day long. So I walk in the bathroom and someone is standing next to the hand dryers, I immediately say "oh sorry" and walk out. As soon as I hit the door I realize... wait this is the girls room, and that was a GIRL!!!!

Whistling

I just want to say that I HATE Whistling!!!!!

It's not an attractive noise, it is rather annoying to hear, and people dont want to hear you do it all the time!! Especially while you wash your hands. I would rather that you hum than whistle, or sing outloud some awesome Spice Girls song, but don't whistle!!!!

Royal Bliss

Last night I was sooooo excited to see Royal Bliss. Dave was so kind enough to drive us clear to TOOELE to see them. So all week I was excited get all the way out to Tooele and in the bar and the door man says "they are sold out".

SOLD OUT!!!! WHAT!!! They have been here so many times before and never sold out... ugh I'm so mad (I dont really have an agry bone in my body, but I was as mad as I could be)!!! So Sarah hurries and calls Dave "turn around come back, they are sold out... no I'm not kidding". Darn it! I was so excited, I love Royal Bliss!!!

Well the night ended up being a blast, we went to "The Spot" down town and had a blast, Sarah and I belted out songs in the back seat of her car haha! But P.S. I'm still way bummed about not being able to see them :(

The O.G mints!!

It's been a crazy few weeks and I'm glad to say things are back to normal... and don't worry I'm done being Negative Nancy!! I'm back to good ole happy Randi!!! I've learned a lot about myself during this time, and if nothing else learned that those closet to me mean the world to me.
Needless to say tons has happened, and although most were frustrating things, it really helped me put a perspective on life and where I wanted mine to take me! I know you cant know it all when your only 21, but I have to say I know a lot more today than I did 2 weeks ago. You never know when you will get that reality check that you needed!
My heart goes out to those of you that need of it right now. I know that sometimes it's hard to see why we are dealt the cards we are, but there is a reason and fate always has something coming. My heart goes out to Lila at this time and I hope she knows we are all thinking of her and wishing her the strength she needs right now!
Mom, Dad, and Car! Thanks for all the talks and listening to me whine all the time, I know I can be a huge baby about things, but I really was glad that you were all there to talk to!
For the longest time I have struggled on knowing where I wanted school to take me and what career field I wanted to go into and now I can say that eBay is it! I love being there and although it is a hard job and really makes me work I enjoy every minute of it!!! I just applied for a new position within eBay and I'm REEEEAAALY hoping I get it, so keep your fingers crossed for me!!

P.S - On a side note, last night Andrea and I enjoyed a dinner at the Olive Garden last night and it was a blast!! Andrea knows how to have a good time!! First they sat us next to the Waiter box thing, which is where they keep all the MINTS!! If you have ever been there you know the mints at the end are probably the best part! But we waited till our check came, and what are STINGY Waiter only gives us ONE... ONE MINT... pfft! He was in trouble with both of us!
Oh and Andrea I hope you recover from your "serious" surgery so soon!

The sickness

So I know every time I post I say it has been a while, but this time I had a good excuse!!! I had the flu, ok well a strain of the flu (and what do you know the one they cant treat... So lets recap.
Sunday February 8 I went to Sarah's and we went to a movie... then I came home and wasn't feeling so great. All I could do is shake and lay in bed. I finally went and took my temp and it was at 102..... yeah I know, way too high! So Monday I called into work and my sweet mom came down to tend to my illness. I went to the Dr. and let me tell you her exact words to me "Do you want the good or the bad news? The good news is you don't have Strep, the bad news is you don't have the Flu".
WHAT?? that is both? how is it bad news news and good news that you don't know what is wrong with me? so her next words were "You have a strain of the Flu, just not one we can treat". So again more bad news (why on earth did I even sit through that shot, ugh). Wait, it gets better, she then says "get some NyQuil, Ibuprofen, and sleep cause it is going to get worse before it gets better". Yeah thanks Doc, and don't worry she wasn't lying the next day i couldn't even get outta my bed.
So Wednesday when I finally could get up I decided I would wash my sheets, and sanitize my room, which I did (since I didn't go to work till Thursday).
So I have been sick since then and it really hasn't been fun. My aching finally went away, and my cough is mostly gone, oh but don't worry my ear has been plugged for a week. Which really isn't fun when you are on the phone all day at work. But I won a contest at work!! The day I went back I found out we all needed to make Valentines Day boxes, and we all know from my previous post how fond I am of that day. So instead I made an eBay box (pics will come later). Well I found out today that there was a contest for the boxes and mine won the most eBayish!!! Yippee for me!!
Well I'm going to Wendover with my friend Kenzie this weekend, so I'll make sure to post pics when I get home!! (now that I'm well enough to make new posts hahaha)!!

Valentines Day!!!

So here is my beef with February 14!!! First let me say I'm not ranting about it because I am an unhappy single person. I am not unhappy and I am NOT single. For years I have exchanged valentines and had someone to share this day with. So don't read this and say "oh she is just mad cause she doesn't have someone to share this day with"... I DO! Now that we have established that let me tell you why I don't like it.

So there is a day in the year that we set aside to tell someone how much you love them. How does this make any sense to ANYONE!!! When I am in a relationship with someone I love them everyday not just one day and it shouldn't take a national holiday for me to express that. Now while at work the other day a girl told me "well its because you haven't been married for years, it gets hard once you have been together that long". So what she is telling me is that once I am married I don't have to show my love for someone?? Let me point something out... My parents have been married for like 23 years and my dad still buys my mom flowers just to say "I love you and I'm thinking about you". So if your giving up after only a few I don't know what to tell you!!

"The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year behind Christmas". I would like someone to tell me why this is? Why do we have a day set aside to make sure couples can say "I love you". This day is nothing more than the card and candy industry telling people to buy things and tell their significant other that they care.

What if Valentines Day wasn't around anymore? Would you every buy your special someone a card to tell them you love them? Would you ever think of buying them flowers? Girls out there if your in a relationship with someone that is only buying you something because society says they should, I think you need to step back and ask yourself why am I not getting something just because? The world shouldn't need a holiday to say "I love you". Nor should there be a holiday that has no meaning behind it more than just the card and candy market making money!!

P.S. I do want everyone reading this to know that I am a lovey mushy person, but my point is that we shouldn't need a national holiday to show that!!!

I think it always good to take a few minutes and look back at where you came from it helps you know where your going! Some days you need that more that others.
Mom and dad on the boat! This is pretty much where they spent their summer days!!!! They are so cute I love them more than anything



This is the house I spent the first 12ish years of my life in. Romana Ave!!! My parents fixed it up and sold it to a great couple. Hopefully they will make as many memories in it as we did. Haha my mom always tells me that when I learned to write my name I wrote it ALL over.... including a stool she has at our house in H-Town :)

My Sister and her 2 awesome kids. I love them so much! This picture is a few years old and they have grown so much. Coleby is having girlfriends now, Kaysi is so much taller now.... WOW how times flies. Its hard to look back and see how much things can change in a matter of years.

A lifetime best friend!!! Andrea has always been there, except when she liked that stupid red head girl!!! Haha only she will laugh about that, but no matter what happens she is always there to be my personal therapist and help me through things. Including the day I said good bye high school, hello adult life. Even now I look back on all the things we have been though and cant imagine anyone else I would rather share all the sleepovers and no bakes with!

Horoscope

I also just wanted to point out that this is my scope for the day!!! man only looking forward from here! In case you didn't know I read my horoscope EVERYDAY and pretty much live by it. I know that may be lame but I think they are true!!

It was just one of those days!!

So let me start off by saying that this week has been a roller coaster ride to say the least about it!! I am a girl and if your not a girl and for some reason you do not know this girl = many many hormones all the time. So.... Monday Sarah and I went to go see bride wars which was kinda funny, but not as good as i thought it was going to be. Week starting off good so far so there are no complaints...
Then we had Tuesday. Where to even start. I was not in a great mood (blaming the girl hormones here) work was well.... work and although I love my job not the highlight of my day... So I get off work and quickly realize that I am out of just about every bathroom thing you can be out of and need to go to the store. While driving to the store I also realize that I have created a confusing problem in my life.... If you know me well enough you know what this is and I'm not going to get into it at the moment.
Wednesday went by pretty easy. I got my Beatles piano book which was good and then I learned how to play the beginning of Hey Jude. I love the Beatles so this was definitely the best thing that happened all week.
Thursday..... Where to start... Well I guess technically the Thursday story started Wednesday night. I got home and put all my dark clothes in the washer. Well I was so excited about my Beatles book that playing the piano was all I did. I woke up Thursday and got all ready and stood in my room for a minute realizing that I have NO ZERO NOT a single pair of jeans... So I throw some old ones on and call it just one of those days. So I get to work and quickly realize I forgot my badge. Left work and was going to stop to get some fake sun on my way home, but then remembered that I forgot my lotion as well. So I went home and got my lotion and drove back out to 45 S. Oh Secret Beach... The things that happen there. Lets just say I will not tan in bed 3 ever again.... I don't care how good they clean it. Then to top off the whole night I was shaving my legs, and dropped my razor. It hit my leg and created this gushing cut that will not stop bleeding.
Friday: I cant complain today. I have promised myself I will look up today! I'm not going to let the week ruin the weekend! So eh chop it all up to lack of sleep during the week caused all this hahaha!!
P.S. Andrea I know what you mean sometimes the cards aren't right, but don't worry things always get better and your friends and fam (Rin especially) are always here. Plus Henry Rollum needs you to be happy to give him some lovin!!!

Viva Las Vegas

So I know I took a long time to get this posted but I have been kinda busy lately..... But Vegas was AWESOME!!! I had so much fun and everyday I wish I was back there... Here are some picture highlights!! The eBay machine was freaking awesome... I played it, and won some money. I think it is because I work there hahaha!!!!

We met Tiger Woods while we were there!!! Ok, Ok, Ok, it is not really Tiger, but it is his look alike! His name was Collin, and he was awesome. We ended hanging out with him all weekend and it was so much fun he knew his way around Vegas so there was no traffic!!

The Venitian was so pretty! This is the River that goes through it.

These People are REAL.... They do this dance thing it was so amazing!!! The Picture below is outside on our way to the Wax Museum.... Sarah and I walked around forever and ever looking for it!

Inside the wax museum we met so many people!!!! Johnny Deep (ugh I loved this one). Tim McGraw was fun as well!!! And then Lucy! I love Lucy is one of my favorite shows.

Well There will be more to come... We took so many more pictures, and did so many other things while we were there. I could go on forever about how much I loved it!!!
